Kyle Haren, RHU
Kyle Haren is an employee benefits broker and President of Haren Insurance. He has been licensed to sell health insurance since 1993 and received his Registered Health Underwriter designation from the American College in 2004. With nearly 30 years of insurance experience, Kyle is an expert in employer group insurance and a Past President of the Chattanooga Association of Health Underwriters.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a degree in Marketing. While a student at UT he lettered in football and played special teams for the Volunteers. Kyle enjoys golf and is an alumnus of The McCallie School in Chattanooga.
David Howell has 21 years of experience in health insurance and is the senior account manager with Haren Insurance. He works with employers on enrollment, billing, and eligibility related issues. David’s wealth of knowledge helps clients resolve most escalated account issues quickly. He also specializes in senior products such as Medicare and final expense helping seniors navigate through the maze of enrolling in Medicare.
A native of Hamilton County, David graduated from Ooltewah High School. He has degrees in Business and Education from the University of Tennessee. David currently serves as the Mayor of Lakesite, TN and enjoys spending time with his family.
Kendell Faulkner has been with Haren Insurance for two years as an account manager. She graduated from Chattanooga State in May of 2020 with a degree in Business Management.
Born and raised in Ooltewah, Kendell is a lover of all animals, especially her two dogs – Lola and Sadie. In her free time, she enjoys working out, hanging out with friends, and shopping a well-stocked clearance section. As an avid reader, she loves mystery novels and history books.
Kendell is a team player, extremely eager and always working to assist the agency and its clients in any way possible.
Alex Ratliff is an employee benefits broker. He has worked in the insurance industry since 2014 and joined our firm in 2019. Alex specializes in helping businesses offer competitive benefits packages while controlling costs.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2013 with a degree in Business Management. While he was at UTC, Alex was a four-year letterman for the Men’s Golf team. During his tenure, the Mocs won two Socon championships and he was selected to the Dean’s List all 8 semesters.
During his free time, Alex still enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family, and mentoring his Little Brother from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
Tyler Howell is an employee benefits broker that helps his clients recruit and retain employees through excellent benefit packages. Prior to joining our team in January 2020, he spent five years as a consultant specializing in Human Resources. He has worked with executives from every type of industry and understands the challenges they face. He puts this experience to work for his clients, serving as broker and trusted advisor on all things HR.
He holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational/Corporate Communication from Belmont University. At Trinity, he was selected as a Kern Scholar and research assistant to the President. At Belmont, he was a four-year Track & Field athlete where he earned distinction as Team Captain and was an NSCA All-American his senior year.
In his spare time, Tyler serves on several local/county boards and has the honor of representing the citizens of Red Bank as City Commissioner. He and his wife, Lindsey, have three extraordinarily clever, impossibly good-looking sons: Oliver, Henry, & Arthur.
